Mr. Barney Theodore McClanahan born the son of proud parents, Barney E. and Leda (Sawyer) McClanahan on September 22, 1910 in Columbiana, Alabama. His formal education was received at the Shelby Co. Training School, Columbiana, Ala. and he graduated the New York School of Embalming and Restorative Art in New York City, class of 1932.
